Course Description
DMSVTD 680 | Ultrasound Research Presentations Total: 20 Hours | E-Lecture: 6 Hours | E-Lab: 6 Hours | On Site Lab: 8 Hours This course serves as the culmination of the Ultrasound Research course, providing each student the opportunity to formally present their capstone project in a professional academic setting. Students will articulate the purpose, methodology, findings, and clinical relevance of their research, mirroring the standards of scientific conferences. In addition to the research component, students will integrate real-world diagnostic case studies and clinical decision-making, demonstrating how their findings apply to practical scenarios. Emphasis is placed on clarity of communication, scientific accuracy, and professional presentation skills. By engaging in evidence-based discussion and peer-reviewed presentation, students refine their critical thinking and contribute meaningfully to the evolving field of ultrasound diagnostics and patient care.
