DMSVTD 360 | Gallbladder & Biliary Ultrasound & Vasculature Total: 40 Hours | E-Lecture: 12 Hours | E-Lab: 12 Hours | On Site Lab: 16 Hours This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the biliary system and its associated vasculature. Students will develop the skills necessary to perform detailed ultrasound evaluations of the gallbladder and bile ducts while considering the biliary system’s integral role in digestion and overall health. Emphasis is placed on differentiating normal and abnormal findings, including gallstones, biliary obstruction, and vascular complications, while also exploring how diet, lifestyle, and systemic health factors influence biliary function. Through hands-on training and case-based learning, students will refine their ability to conduct thorough assessments that align with whole-person care principles, ensuring both diagnostic accuracy and patient well-being.
