CHEM 100 | Introduction to Diagnostic Chemistry Total: 16 Hours | E-Lecture: 8 Hours | E-Lab: 8 Hours | On Site Lab: 0 Hours This course introduces the fundamental principles of diagnostic chemistry as it applies to clinical and laboratory settings. Students will explore chemical concepts related to human biology and disease, including acid-base balance, electrolytes, enzymes, and metabolic panels. Emphasis is placed on understanding how biochemical markers are used in diagnostic decision-making. Laboratory techniques, quality control practices, and safety protocols in diagnostic testing are also discussed.
