Course Description
DMSVTD 220 | Career & Professional Development Total: 8 Hours | E- Lecture: 4 Hours | E-Lab: 4 Hours | On Site Lab: 0 Hours This course prepares students for professional success in the field of sonography by focusing on certification, credentialing, licensure, and career advancement pathways. Students will learn effective job search strategies, résumé development, LinkedIn optimization, and interview preparation. Practical use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is incorporated to support résumé building, job application tracking, and career presentations. By the end of the course, students will be able to present themselves confidently and professionally to employers, demonstrating the skills necessary to navigate the transition from education to practice.
