Course Description
DVSVTD 180 | Interprofessional Communication Total: 8 Hours | E- Lecture: 4 Hours | E-Lab: 4 Hours | On Site Lab: 0 Hours This course enhances communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals. Students will learn to obtain comprehensive patient histories, discuss care plans, and convey diagnostic information to multidisciplinary teams while addressing the physical, emotional, and social aspects of care. Emphasizing clear and compassionate communication, the course covers the preparation and presentation of reports and the responsible use of AI tools to support data analysis, streamline workflows, and uphold ethical standards. Students will also develop teamwork skills, practice conflict resolution with empathy, and contribute to patient care in diverse settings, fostering collaboration and aligning with the integrative standards of naturopathic care.
