DMSVTD 540 | Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Adults Total: 20 Hours | E-Lecture: 6 Hours | E-Lab: 6 Hours | On Site Lab: 8 Hours This course explores the role of ultrasound in evaluating the musculoskeletal system of adults, providing a dynamic, real-time approach to assessing muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints. Students will develop the ability to distinguish normal anatomy from pathological conditions such as soft tissue injuries and joint effusions while gaining hands-on experience in ultrasound-guided interventional procedures. Beyond diagnostics, the course highlights the interconnectedness of musculoskeletal health with movement, biomechanics, and overall physical well-being.
